As part of GDC 2009, Activision and Infinity Ward debuted the trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, which is a direct sequel to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (which came out in 2007 and is not to be confused with Treyarch’s 2008 game, Call of Duty: World at War). I’m a sucker for nostalgia. My generation, as a whole, is, which is why Nike sells Dunks and Jordan’s by the boatload, why Transformers and X-Men movies are made, and why Street Fighter IV exists. But does it hold a candle to probably the most played fighting game ever, Street Fighter II?
Why couldn’t have this been downloadable content? That’s right, due to AC/DC’s backwards policy of not allowing individual song sales (no singles, no iTunes, no downloadable content for Rock Band), AC/DC fans who want to rock out have two choices: Overpay, or don’t play.
