88 Keys “Stay Up! (Viagra)” (2008)

Four months after his debut album, The Death of Adam, was released, 88 Keys finally released his first video today, and it was worth the wait: “Stay Up! (Viagra),” which features Kanye West.

The song was first previewed on Kanye’s 2007 Can’t Tell Me Nothing mixtape, but that version of the song features a spoken-word poetry verse by Malik Yusef instead of 88 Keys’ verse.

The bizarre video features Keys and Kanye dressed as senior citizens, taking two voluptuous 20-something ladies on a lingerie shopping trip, culminating in a visit to a sleazy motel.

Musically, the song sounds like College Dropout-era Kanye, with a soulful beat punctuated bywith an awesome trumpet melody during the chorus.

If you haven’t heard it already, you should definitely check out 88 Keys’ debut concept album, The Death of Adam. It’s… interesting… to say the least.
