I knew it. I knew Erika was a mole in the FBI, I just didn’t think Sean was. Today’s episode was one of the best this season so far, and had many memorable moments.
The car chase was intense. I definitely didn’ expect Dubaku’s girlfriend to go all kamikaze. I love the ethical dilemmas presented between Jack (the girlfriend did a great service!) and Renee (the girlfriend died, damn it!). Renee brings an interesting balance to Jack that we’ve never really had before.
The whole scene with Shawn and Erika in the server room was wild, too. 24 viewers have come to accept (and expect) that the server room is also used to kill people, but the cold blooded way Sean shot Erika and tried to frame her was pure evil. The look on his face when he found out Chloe recovered the data on Dubaku’s bloody memory card was priceless.
My favorite scene, though, was the last. Jack sitting on the mall steps with the D.C. sunset behind him was just a great shot. Then when Tony returned, and they shared that atypical, almost casual conversation about what seems to be a looming White House threat, it sealed the deal.
Next week looks insane. And it’s two hours. I can’t wait.

When Dubaku and his chick where making a getaway in a Jeep I thought, “it would be really bad product placement if this shit flipped over.” Two seconds later it flipped over… A LOT. So goes the Chrysler company.
