Asher Roth was on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last night to perform “Be By Myself” with The Roots. Of course the performance was great.
“Be By Myself” is the second single from Asher’s debut album, Asleep In The Bread Aisle. The studio version of the song features Cee-Lo, but Black Thought did his best to try to fill in.
(As an aside, Captain Kirk has been going through a “family tragedy,” so Luke from Antibalas has been filling in on guitar)
Asher Roth will be performing, along with The Roots, Santigold, Public Enemy, and many more, at the 2nd Annual Roots Picnic in Philadelphia on June 6.
