Yet another new Jay-Z song, presumably from Blueprint 3, which comes out… who knows when…

I’ll assume the song is produced by Kanye West, because he apparently produced the entire album, even though nothing on this beat screams Kanye.

Beatwise, the song features a cool melodic string synth sample, and funky shakers with Latin percussion. But it doesn’t quite “wow” the listener either. Jay-Z’s performance is phoned in.

“When The Money Goes” might be acceptable filler material, but the song doesn’t live up to standard of other presumed Blueprint 3 songs like “History” and “Brooklyn Go Hard.”
